Disability Support Program ODSP provides income support to
people over the age of 18 who meet the legislated definition of disability and
who are in financial need. They also supply a drug benefit card also. |

Giver-Network Contains a wide range of information about caring for a
seriously ill individual, such as coping strategies, support services, and

Cancer Society: Provides information about cancer and the Society's many
programs across Canada.

WELLSPRING
Wellspring
is a support centre for people and their families living with cancer. Programs
and services are available at no cost and without referral, including: Private,
confidential one-to-one peer support for patients or family members.
A
wide range of support groups for patients or family members, including groups
for children and adolescents who have a parent with cancer.
Meditation,
yoga, relaxation and visualization, qi gong, art therapy and journaling.
A
lending library of books, videos and audiocassettes on topics pertaining to
supportive care, self-help techniques and coping with cancer. Wellspring
now has three centres in the greater Toronto area, one in London and another
that will soon be open in St. Catharines to serve the Niagara region."
